This week in the workshop some quick fixes for the Suzuki SV650s needed to be done. I did some sleeves to fit the M6 allen bolts that fastens the seat to the bike and also the side fairings. And also repaired a broken mounting bracket for the ISC-valve (Idle Speed Valve).
On the side covers this is typically done by shoulder-bolts but for some reason the bolts was missing and replacing with normal bolts wouldn’t work because it would squash the plastic fairing and destroy the plastic. So I made sleeves by drilling and turning down aluminium roundstock to be used with common allen bolts instead of buying or making new shoulder-bolts.
On the seat there is bushings instead of using shoulder bolts. So I just made new bushings from the same aluminium roundstock
